Do I need a partner to take dance lessons?
No—you never need a partner, ever. Your instructor is your partner during every lesson, and many students come solo and meet wonderful people at our group classes and socials.
Do I need any experience or natural talent?
Not at all. Beginners are our specialty, and most students start with zero experience. Coordination and rhythm are skills we help you build, lesson by lesson.
What should I wear to my first lesson?
Come comfortable—street clothes you can move in, plus smooth-soled shoes that let you glide (avoid rubber soles that grip). There’s no dress code.
How long are lessons?
Most private lessons run about 45 minutes—the ideal length to learn, practice, and enjoy yourself without feeling rushed. We’ll find a schedule that fits your life.
What’s the difference between private and group lessons?
Private lessons are one-on-one and fully tailored to you—where most real progress happens. Group classes are a fun, social way to practice. Many students love combining both, plus practice parties.
How much do dance lessons cost?
Because every student’s goals differ, the best place to start is our introductory offer—a low-pressure way to experience a lesson. Claim yours and we’ll walk you through your options.
How soon will I see progress?
Sooner than you’d expect. Many students are surprised by how much they pick up in the first lesson, and by lesson three most feel noticeably more confident.
What is the first lesson like?
A warm, no-pressure introduction—we show you around, get to know your goals, and guide you through your first steps. No audience, no judgment.
What ages do you teach?
We specialize in adults, with students from their 30s well into their 80s. It’s never too late to begin.
What dances can I learn?
Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango, lively Latin dances like Rumba, Cha-Cha, Salsa, and Swing, plus social favorites like Country Two-Step. See them all on our Dance Styles page.
Do you offer wedding or first-dance lessons?
Yes. A few lessons can turn nerves into a confident, romantic first dance—choreographed to your song and comfort level.
Where are your studios located?
We serve Houston and the greater Houston area (including Cypress and Richmond), San Antonio (Stone Oak and Alamo Heights), Atlanta (Atlanta Midtown and Duluth), and Brownsville, Texas.
