A warm welcome
We’ll greet you, show you around the studio, and help you feel at home. No clipboard interrogation, no pressure.
A conversation about you
Your instructor asks what brought you in—confidence, fitness, fun, a special occasion, meeting people. There are no wrong answers.
A few steps to music
Then the best part: you’ll actually dance. Simple, foundational steps, one at a time, at a comfortable pace. No prep required.
No pressure, ever
This is an introduction, not an audition—just a feel for what learning to dance with us is really like.
What to wear & bring
Keep it simple—wear something comfortable you can move in, the kind of outfit you’d wear out for a nice casual evening.
Choose smooth-soled shoes if you can (leather or suede slide nicely; rubber soles grip and stick). Unsure? Just come comfortable and we’ll guide you. The only real requirement is to bring yourself.
A few things you do not need
No partner
No partner is ever required. Your instructor is your partner during every lesson.
No experience
Beginners are our specialty. Everyone on our floor started at zero.
No “natural talent”
Coordination and rhythm are built through practice—we’ll help you build them.
